This postcard was among my grandparent's things. It was likely sent to either Lutsk, Ukraine or Istanbul, Turkey. It was likely sent to someone named either Todres or Gendelman. Any help translating this would be very much appreciated.

7/13/2026 12:33 AM To my unforgettable!
I go around on the world from one city to the second and I'm looking for one thing and can't find it. Now I'm in Austria I had some exam in a gymnasium, but I feel that I'm nothing more than a jew. What will be my end I don't know. My mother Chaya should live often used to to point at me and say: you would only be a convert you won't be able to hold on to the Jewish religion, you had a big mistake, if I would want to convert, I would long have done it. So far... mad at me... Something to swim. God should help it should end, I will definitely not forget you. From Faiga I didn't hear even half a word, Shalom writes me not good things, why do you need weddings now.
Be well. Yours, Berish
7/14/2026 10:07 AM Rather than "what will be the end of me" I read "what all my effort will come to I don't know." He's writing a German word Mühe (effort) in Yiddish מיה.

I would translate the ending a bit differently too:
"What are you all worrying about grooms now" A Yiddish word for "worry "is דייַגען - he's misspelling it as טייגען

Thus I go around on the world from one city to the next and I'm looking for one ___ thing and can't find it. Now I'm in Austria I had one exam in a gymnasium, but I feel that I'm not more than just one Jew. What will be the end of my effort, I don't know. My mother Chaya should live often used to to point at me and say: you would only be a convert you won't be able to hold on to the Jewish religion, you had a big mistake, if I would want to convert, I would long have done it. So far... mad at me... Something to swim. God should help it should end, I will definitely not forget you. From Faiga I didn't hear even half a word, Shalom writes me not good things, What use does it make now ___,
Be well. Yours, Berish
