6/7/2026 7:22 PM	The father's name reads as "Hevish", a name that I have not encountered before. It is spelled: hay-ayin-vav-vav-yud-shin. Perhaps it is a variant of Faivish?
6/7/2026 10:27 PM	I would read the name as Reb (Mr.) Hawish. The two vavs together don't add up to a "v" sound, but make a "w" sound, I believe. This is probably a Yiddish diminuative of a Hebrew or Germanic name (although I can't tell you what that was), in a manner similar to how Hesh and Heshie are diminuatives of Hirsch.
6/9/2026 7:06 AM	"Rivka, daughter of Hevish, died 21 Shevat 5706" (Jan 23, 1946). I too have never seen that name - but that is what it is. :)
