6/7/2026 11:27 PM	The names are Yehushua Ariah son of Reb (Mr.) Eliahu.
6/9/2026 5:57 PM	But it is the right family name. The arched line at the top says: An oak of weeping* for the Spector family. *See Genesis 35:8.
6/10/2026 5:04 PM	It can also be the correct person, as many Jewish men chose the secular name "Samuel" when they came to America. Yehoshua [yeh-hoe-SHOO-ah] is Hebrew for Joshua. Aryeh is Hebrew for lion. (Some men with Aryeh as part of their religious name have a secular name related to lion, such as Leo, Leonard, etc.) Eliyahu [eh-lee-YAH-hoo] is Hebrew for Elijah. The 17th of Shvat 5682 corresponds to February 14th/15th, 1922.
