I have a series of photos of gravestones I took when I traveled to Kopaihorod in the early 1990s. Please excuse the amateur quality of them. On some I am aware that only part of the inscription is visible. Please translate the Hebrew and or Russian as appropriate. Many thanks.

On  Response
6/14/2026 7:13 PM In the arch at the top, a phrase from Solomon's Woman of Valor poem: She opened her palm to the poor, and stretched out her hand to the destitute.

I'm afraid that I cannot make out everything, but she is described as a respected woman.

Her name was Sotsia [?] and her father was Moshe.

The month of her death appears to have been Tishri, which is September/October; she died in the year 57__ (last digits blurry). IF the year at the bottom is 1946 [and this is a guess, because I think that I see 46 in the Russian, but I do not know the context], then the Hebrew year would have been 5707.

Bottom of the stone is obscured.
