Category: Interpretation Approval Date: 5/3/2026 5:13 PM Family Surname: Weissler Country: Poland Date of Image: August 1902	Click the picture to enlarge	This is a page from the passenger list for the La Touraine that sailed from Havre to New York in August 1902. Line 19 lists a Leib Chaim Weissler; I cannot read the Last Residence column at all (just right of "Austrian". The transcribed place on the record in ancestry.com is Garhopek. I do believe he was from Galicia but even trying to imagine what someone heard when they wrote it down, I can't come up with anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
