Hello,

I'm hoping to have this handwritten Polish text from a Holocaust testimony translated to English, ideally with the full text.

..it was something like jewification (judaization) of the partisan forces, that is its discrediting among the local peasantry.

I also know that when faced with being captured by the Germans - while already in hiding, in danger of being taken to the Umschlagplatz - Jozef Lewartowski dialed the last known to him telephone contact number to the Central Committee of the party (which he had been given in case of extreme circumstances), asking the leadership outside the ghetto what to do, informing them that all possibilities of action are at an end, and that, in fact, the Germans are surrounding them, asking for orders and finally for help in escape and further activity (he was, as was known, lame and handicapped); he received an answer from the other side: "You must try using private means about private contacts!.." The next day Josef Lewartowski was taken to Umschlagplatz.

The next day he was taken to the Umschlagplatz
