I'd appreciate a translation of this letter from my grandmother to her son (my father).

Dear children may you live long,
I'm here a month and two days, and I didn't get from you a letter. Do me a favor, and if none of the kids have time to write a letter then one of the kids should write a few words. I'm sure you know the news here. I mean that the president of Israel Yitzchok Ben Tzvi died. And its a very sad here in the land/country. Besides, here the people are full of feeling. What I can tell you about me is that the first few days from my being here I was sick from the flu. Also Tommy, Seyomes daughter that came home for Shabbos from the army, didn't go back but kept me company with a high temperature. And on top of this, Seyomis wife also fell to bed. But the people here on the Kibbutz are very kind and all the sick people they see to with food and all side things. Today I am by Yoseph and Rivka Bavshavos, with them I went on a tour to Eimeck Yisroel. And this Monday we are going to Haifa for Yom Ha'atzmaut - Independence day with a tour. Today, Friday Tante (Aunt) Hinda is arriving to Israel with the ship. Also Mrs. Dolzik and a lot of people that I know. In Tel Aviv I met a lot of people from Chicago and Los Angeles. Children I want to ask you a big favor, Call my mother on Shabbos at 10 o'clock in the morning, AL.2-9003 Mrs. Ida Friedland Rm. 218. And write me about her, Because I don't know whats going on with her. I don't want to write you from Israel, I hope god will give me health and life and I will tell you everything personally. What's doing by you? what are the kids doing? I hope my letter finds you all in good health. Give regards to everyone. Everybody from the family sends you all a hearty regards. I will be more by Seyoma so write to his address. With love your mother.
