I'm interested in knowing only the exact original surname of their mother, Brandla, and whether it is mentioned as an actual surname or as a patronym. In addition, in the death record of Berek Laybus, in what house number does his father live? thanks, Ido

4/26/2026 11:59 PM	Hello, In all three records, the mother's surname is listed as "Maierkowiczowna" or "Majerkowiczowna." The formation is rather irregular, but this is still a patronymic meaning "daughter of Maier/Majer." It is not a true surname. In the death record of Berek Leybus, the father lives in House No. 21.
