Akta 13 is my great-great-great-grandfather’s brother’s 1839 marriage record from Śniadowo, Łomża, Poland. I would like it translated in full (or at least everything that isn’t the standard wording of a marriage record).

Names that I would expect to see in the text are:

- the groom’s name: Moszko HERYNGIER/HERYNGER.
- his father: Matys HERYNGER, son of Herszk;
- his mother: Malka Pesa, daughter of Chaim;
- the bride’s name: Szejna Enia KRÓLEWIECKA;
- her father: Boruch;
- her mother: Ryfka z Owsiejów.

Here is all the relevant information. (I am presuming the word “Zambrów” at the top of the page to indicate the place of marriage, although the registration was in Śniadowo.)

Groom: Moszk Matysowicz HERYNGIER, widower, 20 years old, born and residing in Tykocin, son of Matys Herszkowicz HERYNGIER and Pesla née Haym

Bride: Szeyna Boruchówna KRÓLEWIECKA, unmarried, 16 years old, residing with her mother in Zambrów, daughter of Boruch Srólowicz KRÓLEWIECKI (deceased) and Ryfka née Owsiej

Witnesses: Moszk Leybowicz TENEBAUM[?], synagogue sexton, 40 years old; and Abram Joelowicz RYBAK, 39 years old; [both] residing in Zambrów

Marriage Banns (Announcements): in Tykocin on 16 February, 23 February, and 2 March 1839; and in Śniadowo on 15, 22, and 29 June 1839
