New members receive an instructional book on beginning Jewish genealogy. Members of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Sacramento have access to
the JGSS library and may check out materials during monthly meetings at the Einstein Center.

Membership dues support the growth of the JGSS library, provide funds for society expenses, and help pay travel stipends for out-of-town speakers. The JGSS also makes annual contributions to other non-profit organizations involved in the preservation of Jewish genealogical records.

Membership in the JGSS is open to anyone with an interest in researching their Jewish family history. Annual membership dues of $25.00 may be paid either in person at a meeting or by sending a check or money order made out to the “Jewish Genealogical Society of Sacramento” to the address on our “Contact us” page.
