Nitra, Slovakia, 417 plaques total.

“More than six thousand tortured Jewish martyrs of the city, taken to Hitler's death camps, tortured there, Lublin, Treblinka, Kremnicka and R├íztoka should be carved on this sacred place - these are the places where they are buried, their names are not marked anywhere, they are inscribed in dead stone as an eternally living memory - the names of Nitra and surroundings, who were forcibly murdered, gassed and burned alive in 1942-1945. Oswiecim, Majdanek, unspeakable suffering - their tortured bodies are not the nominal heroes of the greatest tragedy of Jewish history. Honour to their memory!”
