Synagogue/Society Description: This was a famous massacre in Kroscienko near Nowy Targ on 2nd May 1946 by the Ogien group. They were tried for the crime. This group of Jewish survivors were on their way to smuggle themselves across the border to Czechoslovakia where the Bricha activists were arranging travel to Israel. An article in the Institute of National Remembrance fully describes these events and list of victims.
