Synagogue/Society Description: Plaque found in a Berlin synagogue, erected by the Municipality of Hohensalza which was part of Germany at thte time. Inscription at the bottom of the plaques says, "Died a heroic death for the fatherland the heroes rest in foreign soil, but their fame lives on at home, they fought and died for the fatherland and for Judaism."
