| Cemetery Description: |
GPS location: Latitude N48.27868 Longitude E17.73962. The cemetery was full of grass, shrubs and thorny trees (with long thorns that go through rubber boots easily) covering the graves_ After some gardening work and highlighting the stones with white chalk we were able to see and read a big part of the graves. Some were old, in bad shape and unreadable while some look excellent and huge. In the middle of the cemetery there's a suspicious rectangle of graves plucked from their original places and now bordering a little hill between them. We figure this is a mass grave of bodies from the Sered concentration camp from WW II. There was a strong sweet and nauseating smell of corn or sugar in the air from a nearby factory.
