Jewish Passengers Leaving Bordeaux 1713-1787

BACKGROUND

This is a list of Jewish passengers leaving via the port of Bordeaux, France during 1713-1787. The original documents are located in the Archives de la Gironde in the archival fond, "Certificats d'identité et de catholicité, soumissions et passeports concernant les passagers embarqués à Bordeaux."

The actual documents are divided into folders, and these are indicted in this database as follows. For example, an entry "3/242" means page 3 of 242 total pages in the folder. The folders are arranged chronologically.
