BACKGROUND

This is a list of Jewish doctors that lived in Egypt in the 1930s. It was compiled at the end of the book Medecins Juifs D’Egypte. This was part of the book Medecins et Avocats Juifs Au Service De L’Egypte by Maurice Fargeon published in Cairo (Le Caire) by Imprimerie Lencioni in 1939. The book contains a history of Jewish involvement in the medical field from Roman times to the Rambam and then the present day (1939.) The book was digitized by the Centre d’Etudes Alexandrines
