Background

This database includes an index of birth, marriage and death records for the towns of Eisenstadt, Deutschkreutz and Schlaining-Oberwart in the Burgenland District of Austria on the border with Hungary.

• The Deutschkreutz records date from 1833-1895 for births and marriages, and from 1833-1920 for deaths.
• The Eisenstadt records date from 1895-1919 for births and from 1895-1938 for marriages and deaths.
• The Schlaining-Oberwart records date from 1841-1917 for births, and 1851-1918 for marriages and deaths.
