Bessarabia Out-of-Town JewsBessarabia Out-of-Town Jews. Project Leader - Emilia Alexeeva.
In 1874-1875, a census of the male Jewish population of the Russian Empire was conducted. The Bessarabia Out-of-Town Jews Records contain the census information about Jews registered in Bessarabia, but who actually lived in other gubernias/provinces of the Russian Empire: Kherson gubernia, Podolia gubernia, Volyn gubernia, Grodno gubernia, Chernigov gubernia, Tavricheskaya gubernia, etc.
You can get the whole set of Bessarabia Out-of-Town Jews Records and copies of the originals for a donation of $100 to Bessarabia SIG General Fund.
