Category: Translation - Russian Approval Date: 10/18/2026 5:29 PM Family Surname: LEWKOWICZ Country: Poland Town: Kowal Date of Image: 1893	Click the picture to enlarge	Kowal (Poland) death record, 1893, akt 36: Abram Jankiel LEWKOWICZ, died September 1893, born in Kowal, a discharged soldier, about 57. He left a widow, Golda, and three children, Fiszel, Ryfka and Gitla. I need help reading the parents' names in the marked line. My best reading is "son of JOZEF (Iosifa) and Gitla nee NASIELSKA" but a second reader got "son of ICEK and Gitla nee K...". Which is it - the father's given name (Jozef or Icek?) and Gitla's maiden name (does it start with N or K, and what is the full name?). A full Russian transcription is welcome, but these two names are the priority. Thank you!
