This is a photo of a photo. I don't have the original image. I'm hoping to get a translation of the text on the bottom and the single word on the top. I am posting a second image of only the text on the bottom in the hope it may be easier to read. I can't improve on this image so having any of the words translated would be very helpful.

On  Response
10/5/2026 12:13 AM The top says "Y. Kaplan". It looks printed (when compared with the writing at the bottom, which is handwritten), so it might be the name of the photographer rather than the person in the photo.

The bottom reads:
"It is very hot, my dear ones. It is an extremely hot [month of] Tamuz. Primarily, please forgive me and don't argue"

(This does not end with a period, so I am wondering whether the reverse of the photo had a continuation of the message, which sounds like it might have been a response to something that had been written to him?)
