From Skanoteka.

Akta 68 is an 1838 death record from Ostrów Mazowiecka, Ostrów Mazowiecka, Poland for Ioszk OZDOBA, who might be my fifth-great-grandfather. I would be grateful if someone could translate it in full.

Thanks so much! Hopefully the handwriting isn’t too hard to read.

10/3/2026 11:12 PM The image isn't very clear, but nor is the original on Skanotek. I've tried my best. It's not a full translation, sorry, but here are the salient details.

Death reported in Ostrów on 8 (Julian) / 20 (Gregorian) November 1838 by Juczk? Mortkowicz MARKOWSKI, leaseholder/innkeeper aged 40, and Michel Mortkowicz MARKOWSKI, labourer aged 36, residing in the village of Ugniewo.

Date and time of death: 6 (Julian) / 18 (Gregorian) November 1837 at 5 o'clock in the evening.

The deceased:  Iczk Moszkowicz OZDOBA, labourer aged 65, widowed.  Survived by sons Berek aged 40, Moszek aged 30 and Herszek aged 16, all engaged in labouring in the village of Ugniewo.
