**Literal Polish-Russian Administrative Translation**

**No. 1.** Happened in the town of Dobrzyń [Dobrzyń nad Wisłą] on the twenty-eighth of January / ninth of February [Julian/Gregorian calendars] one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, at three o'clock in the afternoon. We declare that in the presence of witnesses: Szmul Rabre Chajmow, a Jewish scholar/student, fifty-five years old, and Michał Rubin, a merchant, fifty-eight years old, both residing and present in the combined town of Dobrzyń, on this day a religious matrimonial union was concluded between:

**Peretz Wormabin** [Wormabin / Warmabin], unmarried, twenty-five years of old, a working silversmith/artisan residing with his parents in the combined town of Dobrzyń, son of Lewin (son of Berek) Wormabin and his lawful wife Dina, née Lewin, who also work and reside in Dobrzyń;

and **Ruchla Erauch** [Jrauch / Rauch], maiden, twenty-five years of age, born likewise in Dobrzyń, Dobrzyń District, daughter of the late Abram Erauch, who lived and died there, and his late wife Chana, née Fridman, who worked and resided in the combined town of Dobrzyń.

This marriage was preceded by three banns published in the local and combined Kozenice/Kozienice Synagogues on: November 9/21, November 16/31 [sic], and December 31 / January 4, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven / one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

Oral consent to the marriage was given by the attending parents of the newlyweds entering into marriage. The newlyweds declared that no prenuptial agreement was concluded between them.

The religious ceremony was performed by the local Rabbi, Gerszon Rosenberg. This act was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses, and due to religion/literacy, signed by the latter two.
