This is a database of over 8,800 obituary notices for the Chicago, Illinois area, compiled by Richard Hoffman. The index covers December 1994 through September 1998. For each entry, the index contains the deceased's name, date of death, and other information such as the deceased's age, birthplace, maiden name, and occassionally the name of the cemetery.
