The Peter and Mary Kalikow Jewish Genealogy Research Center provides visitors with expert
guidance from professional genealogists who specialize in family history and bring deep
knowledge of specific regions of Jewish life. In addition to invaluable in-person genealogical
research assistance, the Kalikow Center offers access to major genealogical resources such as
Ancestry, My Heritage, Family Search and JewishGen’s comprehensive online databases and its
collection of Yizkor book translations. Located on the first floor of the Museum of Jewish
Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, the Center opens three days a week to the
public.
With your support, the Center will continue to provide expert genealogical research, expand
digital access to vital resources, and present the weekly JewishGen Talks series. Join our
community to preserve Jewish family histories, honor lost communities, and ensure these stories
endure for generations.
