Yizkor

The Gorzd community is no longer.

The ripper has risen on our holy community, and there is no house without a dead. Next to this paper monument, whose name is Yizkor Book, the survivors stand silent in grief and commemorate the souls of their loved ones. Within giant tombs, the martyrs, impure in body but pure in spirit, reached their final resting place, or their bones were scattered in disorderly ways on the blood-soaked soil of Lithuania, and no one knows their burial place.

May their souls be bound up in the bond of life
