Date Formed:	The synagogue (the oratory) opened in 1956. It was designed by Ernst Freud architect, the son of Sigmund Freud.⁽ⁱⁱⁱ⁾
Status:	The synagogue closed in 1979, when the hospital site, with the synagogue, was sold for redevelopment. The London Independent Hospital with a frontage on Beaumont Square now occupies the site.^(iv)
Ritual:	Presumably Ashkenazi Orthodox
Affiliation:	None known
Local Government District:	The hospital was in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and was (until 1965) in the former Metropolitan Borough of Stepney in the former County of London.
