I do not pretend to present a detailed historical survey of the development of the theater in Yedinitz because I do not have precise information. What I do have are distant memories and brief recollections of certain people with whom I have spoken.

        Already at the end of the 19th century there were young people in Yedinitz who were looking to express themselves in theatrical productions. For example, the Purim players added actual events into their Purim plays.
