By Metro:
Exit the Red Line at Gallery Place/Chinatown, which is at the corner of 7th and H Streets. Walk one block east to 6th Street, then one block north to I St.
From Virginia:
Come into D.C. via the 14th Street bridge, stay on 14th Street to I Street NW, turn right on I Street and go 8 blocks to 6th Street NW.
From Maryland:
Come into DC via Massachusetts Avenue to 6th Street NW, turn right on 6th Street for one block to I Street NW.

The congregation is conveniently located 2 blocks north of the Red Line Metro, Cleveland Park Station.
From the Beltway (I-495):
Adas Israel Congregation is located at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Porter Street in Northwest Washington, DC, approximately five miles from the Connecticut Avenue (south) Exit on the 495 Beltway. (Going south on Connecticut Avenue, make a left onto Porter Street then the immediate next left onto Quebec Street.) There is a parking lot behind the building.
From Virginia:
From Northern Virginia, take 395 North to Memorial Bridge, follow signs to Rock Creek Parkway. Exit Rock Creek Park at Porter Street, heading towards Connecticut Avenue. At the intersection of Porter Street, Connecticut Avenue and Quebec Street, turn right onto Quebec Street. Follow Quebec Street to parking lot located behind Adas Israel Congregation.

From the Beltway (I-495):
Take I-270 North; stay right to "LOCAL EXITS". Take Montrose Road East towards Rockville. Stay on Montrose Rd. (bearing left) at split with Montrose Parkway. B'nai Israel is about one mile ahead on the left, at 6301 Montrose Rd.
From Route 355 (Rockville Pike and Wisconsin Avenue):
Take Montrose Road West at the Montrose Rd/Randolph Rd/Rt 355 intersection, heading towards I-270. One block past the Jewish Community Center is B'nai Israel on the right.

After turning off of MacArthur Blvd., the Community Center is on the corner, then there is a school and then a parking lot and a gate for additional parking behind the school (which we will need to use and are permitted to use). Then we need to walk back around to the Community Center entrance (double-doors).

From Rockville:
Take 270 to Falls Road. Exit going west on Falls, then left onto Wooton Parkway. At the second light, make a right onto Seven Locks Road, and follow it until it dead-ends on MacArthur Blvd. Turn left and go one half mile. Turn left on 75th Street, and then an immediate right into the community center.
From Bethesda:
Take either Wilson Lane or Goldsboro Road, and turn right on MacArthur Blvd. Turn right on 75th Street, and an immediate right into the community center.
From Northern Virginia:
Take I-495 N/Capital Beltway toward Baltimore (crossing into Maryland over the American Legion Bridge). Take the Clara Barton Pkwy exit, EXIT 41, toward Carderocks/Glen Echo. Take the ramp toward GLEN ECHO PARK/WASHINGTON. Merge onto Clara Barton Pkwy. Take the ramp toward Cabin John. Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp. Keep RIGHT at the next fork in the ramp. Turn RIGHT onto MacArthur Blvd . Follow MacArthur Blvd. to 7425 MacArthur Blvd.

Go west on Massachusetts Avenue NW until it ends at Goldsboro Road Turn right on Goldsboro Road. Proceed 1/4 mile to next traffic light. Turn left at light onto River Road. Continue approximately 5.6 miles to traffic light at Falls Road. Turn right. Go approximately 2 miles. Har Shalom is on your left, past a fire station.
From Northern Virginia via Beltway (I-495):
From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 39 - River Road West, towards Potomac. Continue approximately 3 miles to traffic light at Falls Road. Turn right. Go approximately 2 miles. Har Shalom is on your left, past a fire station.
From Silver Spring via Beltway (I-495):
From the Beltway, take Exit 35 - 270 North. Get off 270 at Montrose Road (Exit 4B - West) - past Seven Locks Road. Continue to end of Montrose Road. Turn left onto Falls Road. Har Shalom will be on your right, just after Glen Road, approximately 1.5 miles.
From Gaithersburg via I-270 South:
From the local lanes, take Exit 5 - Falls Road (Rt. 189) South toward Potomac. Har Shalom will be on your right, just after Glen Road, approx 2.5 miles.

From Inner Loop of I-495:

From Washington, DC:

South on I 695 South to I-95. At exit 27, go west on I-495 (Capital Beltway). At exit 35, go north on I-270 (towards Fredrick). At exit 4 take ramp to Montrose Rd – WEST. Go 2.3 miles and turn left on Falls Road. (MD 189). Drive 1.4 miles. The Potomac Community Center will be on your left.
From Virginia:
Go North East on I-495 (Capital Beltway). Enter Maryland and follow signs to I-270 North. Exit at Democracy Blvd. Continue west past Montgomery Mall. Turn right on Falls Road (MD 189). The Potomac Community Center will be on your right, after the Bells Mill Rd traffic light.

Public transportation is strongly advised as public parking is very limited. The Metro stop is Smithsonian (orange/blue lines), one block from the Museum. The Metro stations and the route to the Museum via subway are accessible to wheelchair users. Follow subway directions to the Museum at Independence Ave. and 14th St.
