In Yiddish, Baltushove

A settlement with one house (Viensedis) that belonged to a Jew by the name of Rabbi Itzcha Baltushover. He lived with his large family in the subdistrict of Skiemonys in the Anyksciai district. The head of the family owned a facility for cleaning wool and worked for the farmers in the area. He donated money for building the Beit Midrash in Skiemonys and was involved in the study of Kabala.
