A village in the Raseiniai district, 15 km southeast of Kelme and 3 km from Lyduvenai. From 1597 the village belonged to the Lioliai Estate. For many years the village was part of the Siluva district in the Kaunas Gubernia (region). In 1853 a Jewish agricultural settlement was established there on governmental land (on 137 dunams, which is about 30 acres). Overall, 45 people lived in Baltmiskis. After WWI, almost no one remained in the place.
