My name is Yochanan Dvir. I was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1923. In WWII I lived in the Warsaw Ghetto with my family, and in 1943 fled from the ghetto and was sent to work in Germany under an assumed Polish name Jan Sikorski. All my family was murdered in the Holocaust. After the war I returned to Warsaw to search in vain for my parent and my sister, and later came to Israel, where I became member of Lehavot Habashan. | |
