Chabad Lubavitch of South London was incorporated on 23 May 2013 (company no. 08542368), as a registered (non-profit) private company limited by guarantee without a share capital.(viii)

Under the same name (and with a working name of Chabad Wimbledon), it is also a registered charity (registered charity no. 08542368), registered on 8 November 2013.(ix)

Local Government District:

Wimbledon is a neighbourhood in South London. Most of Wimbledon, including the Chabad Centre, is in the London Borough of Merton, an outer London Borough created on 1 April 1965, within the administrative area of Greater London.

Prior to 1965, Wimbledon was in the former Municipal Borough of Wimbledon (which was an urban district until 1905) in the county of Surrey.(x)
