Chevening Road (south side, at junction with Carlisle Road), Brondesbury, London N.W.6.
(The building, built in 1904-5, was destroyed by arson in 1965, but then rebuilt. It was sold in 1974 to Iman Al-Khoei Foundation and is now the "premier Shia mosque" in London.)

Current Status:

Closed in 1974, with most of its members joining either the Willesden Synagogue or the Cricklewood Synagogue.  The Willesden Synagogue assumed the name Willesden & Brondesbury Synagogue, then changed its name to the Brondesbury Synagogue and is now known as the Brodesbury Park Synagogue.

Brondesbury is a residential area in the London Borough of Brent, within the administrative area of Greater London, both of which entities were established on 1 April 1965.

Previously, it was in the former Municipal Borough of Willesden  (incorporated as a borough in 1933 - prior to then it was the Urban District of Willesden since 1894) within the former County of Middlesex, both of which entities were abolished in 1965.

Registration Districts:

From 1 July 1837 - Hendon
From 1 October 1909 - Willesden
From 1 April 1965 - Brent (which should now hold the registers)
