CHAIM ZOTTENBERG

My Grandfather. He was an honest, decent man, a scholar, intelligent. He dealt with community matters not for the sake of any award, a Zionist. He kept the complex mitzvot as well as the easy. All his life was devoted to helping others. He had discussions with the non-religious in order to show them that Jewish law is the truth so that they would do complete repentance. He was a moderate person, devoted and faithful to tradition, never spoke badly about anyone or gossiped, all his life. He was a moderate person. He followed the path of truth and honesty. One could say about him that he was a Tzaddik. He educated his two daughters in the ways of justice and honesty: my mother Rivke and my Aunt Miriam.

my mother RIVKE

was a woman of kosher ways, a good heart, smart and intelligent. She was devoted to me with all her heart as the love of a mother for her son.

TO REMEMBER FOREVER

HUSBAND and FATHER

MOSHE (Munie) STEIGER

“Cut down in his youth”

It is hard to get used to the idea that Moshe is no longer with us. All his life, he tried to help the sick and comfort the suffering. He was born in Jezierna and completed high school in Tarnopol. He studied medicine in Italy and continued in Lvov, but never completed his studies. When World War II started, he joined the army and fought the Nazis. After the war, he returned to Poland, but he couldn't bring himself to stay in a country where millions of Jews were killed. He emigrated to Israel and started to work in Rambam Hospital in 1951. He was a member of the workers' committee. He worked with devotion.

May his memory be preserved forever!
His memory will never depart from us
