Shalom dear Freida,
We received your letter. I really waited for this letter because I thought that your picture would be inside it. I'll have to wait longer despite the fact that it is difficult. Shoshanna wrote us that she sent you a letter and a picture. You must have received the letter by now, together with the picture. What do you say? It is almost difficult to recognize Shoshanna, she became more beautiful. I'm very happy that you can earn a living, what a pity that you need to send us money from the labor of your hands. Maybe it is difficult for you? And what is our aunt saying about it?
Freidale, I will write you something new. With G-d's help we are already holding an income after Chalev gave us the permit. For a while we did not want it, but at the end we took it. For the time being the proceeds aren't so great, maybe it will be better in the summer.
What is Shoshanna writing to you? It is very interesting to know. Shoshanna wrote us that she saw Chaya Lepika. She returned to Eretz Israel from America. According to what Eta Reshe is saying, Shimon Lepika is not happy in Eretz-Yisrael. He wrote that life is very difficult there and it is hard to settle.
Eta Kagan went to Kovno today. I sent with her Mishloach Manot [Purim food gifts] for Lea. I would have sent you a lot of Hamantaschen if I were able to.
We are preparing for a wedding that will take place on Purim, Chaya-Sara Jacobson is getting married. The wedding will be in Dotnuva and we are also invited. For that, I am sewing for myself a dress. I'll write you when it is ready. I will also write you about the wedding and how I spent my time. Be healthy and strong. I'm sending you lots and lots of kisses. Greetings to aunt and uncle.

Dear sister and brother-in-law, and my dear daughter,

We waited for your letter impatiently. Thank G-d you are healthy and happy. I hope to hear good news also in the future. I'm glad that you are working and satisfied. If I'm not mistaken, I think your aunt told Morris to pay Freida a good salary. I'm happy that you don't work on the Sabbath. We haven't received the15 dollars yet, it will surely come soon. I think your aunt deserves our thanks for the money as well, so please accept out thanks together.

We are waiting to receive regards from Reizale through Zelda. I asked her to discuss her situation with you. Please send her a small gift. So far we haven't received a letter from Zelda, only a telegram about her arrival, like yours. There is no news. We are preparing a little for Passover. It will be warmer by then, the ground is already muddy.

My dear Freidale, we are very happy that you are studying. Right now it should be your main aspiration and, with patience, you will be able to succeed. If only we will be healthy. Write us a lot of news. May you be healthy and strong.

I've just arrived from Kagan. Eta traveled today to Kovna and Perale is a bit restless. I sat and talked to her. She is a wonder girl. She already knows every word and sings all the songs. She just sang Hatikva and that was something to hear. She mentions you all the time and it is interesting that she recognizes you in all the postcards. She is very smart for her age and she is always staying with us. She is just giving me her hand, meaning that she wants to go for a walk.

I'm in a great hurry, it is already before ten. Freida, why are you writing so little, write more and in detail. There is no news in Dotnuva, the ground is very muddy and it is impossible to cross the street. Be healthy and strong.
