The Memorial to Volozhin Jews was erected on the Volozhin Graveyard hill in September 2000; The Volozhiners Organization in Israel “Irgun Yotsey Volozhin” accomplished this. The memorial overlooks the ancient ruined cemetery, the six common mass graves and the May 10th 1942 slaughter site (the second action), where the Germans and their accomplices executed 2000 Volozhin Jews. The text in Hebrew, Russian & English:

“Memory to thousands of Volozhin Jews murdered by the Fascists inside the town borders in the Years 1941-1943. Their remnants are buried here in six mass graves. Peace to their soul”.
