May God remember the souls of our Brethren of Israel who resided in the city of Kalish and became martyrs and heroes during the Holocaust; thirty thousand Jews who were slain, murdered, strangled and buried alive; the entire holy congregation of Kalish who were destroyed and hallowed the name.

May God remember how they were offered up with the other martyrs and heroes of Israel since time untold; and may their souls be bound up in the bundle of life. they were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in death they were not divided. may they rest in peace where they lie. and let us say Amen.
