The congregation is a registered charity (no. 1037099), under the name Ealing Liberal Jewish Congregation, registered on 28 April 1994. The governing document is the congregation's Constitution adopted 14 May 1989.^(xv)

The West London suburb of Ealing is a residential area in the London Borough of Ealing and was previously (from 1901 until 1965) in the somewhat smaller former Municipal Borough of Ealing.^(xvi)
