Shavuot Eve, 5701 30 May, 1941

My beloved and precious daughters!
How are you? We worry about you in particular and about Israel in general. May God, blessed be He, help us. We can only lean on our Heavenly Father.
Our Miriam, bless her heart, married lovely and intelligent people. He's a refugee from Poland, of a good family, his father is the head of a yeshiva and the whole family is wellborn. He's also wellborn. He's a scholar and a graduated of a seminary for teachers. He worked in his profession until he was forced to flee. Now they're staying with us until the rage is over.
Our Moshe and his wife have jobs in Poniewież, he as an agronomist and she as a teacher in a Lithuanian high school. They earn pretty well, so, thank God, everything is fine. We don't have the restaurant (Rastaran), but we have enough to live on and the children support us.
May God only give peace to the entire world, then, we hope to see you in Eretz-Yisrael. Thank God, all of us are healthy. Yitzchak and our Pessie live quite well.
