Family Surname: Magilner, Shapira, Shapiro
Country: Israel
Town: Haifa

The photo card I submitted to viewmate yesterday has been identified as in Yiddish from Luba, Elazar and Bern'le (Boris) Shapira (Shapiro). Also in Miriam Magilner's collection was a letter from Luba Shapiro with a Haifa address and a long letter in Yiddish. If there are descendants of the Shapira's they might want to view the contents of the letter.

This would have been sent immediately after arrival in Palestine from a DP camp (boelcke kaserne ulm).
