2/3/2013 8:10 PM I would like a direct translation of #37, death index for Aba Waltuch, my greatgreatgrandfather. I am not sure if the handwriting is in Polish or German. I can figure out that his parents were Israel and Ryfke. The house number is 856. Help with the rest of the translation would be very much appreciated. Thank you. View the post with its 4 responses

2/3/2013 8:10 PM Very excited to have found this picture of my great great grandmother and great-great grandfather's grave. Would someone kindly translate the Hebrew inscription? I hope to learn the name of their parents to help go back another generation. Thanks in advance for any help.

2/3/2013 8:10 PM I need help understanding where Scheine and Chaje Podzowsky, and Nechama Scher came from. This is a clip from their Hamburg passenger list. It lists their place of residence as Kros.

Nechama Sher's brother lived in Girkalnis, Lithuania, and the Padzowski/ Pozefsky family lived in Grinkiskis at one point.

Thank you very much.
