This is an extract from the civil death record of Samson Rappaport-Scharfspitz. I have also uploaded the full page for reference. I assume this word defines the profession of Samson Rappaport. To me it looks like Der "Nequisiteur" Samson Rappaport which does not make sense. If the first letter were an R (thus Requisiteur) that would have a meaning - but the first letter looks much more like an "N" - and family tradition is that he was an editor or journalist.....Any ideas?
