Could someone please translate my grandmother's birth certificate from Hungarian into English? Her name was Toni Klein and she was adopted by Fani and Itsak Klein. Are there a different birth mother and father on the birth certificate? Thank you. Trudi Reisner

5/29/2022 1:52 PM Hello Trudi,

This extract from the Birth Registry does NOT show any indication of adoption as you suggest. The names of the mother and father are stated clearly, showing the birth of Toni Klein as legitimate. There are no further notations or remarks.

So, it appears that the family information about her having been adopted remains a mystery....Jo
