5/13/2022 4:38 AM At the same time, the commissioner arranged for our passports to be released for departure at the passport office. When the 1000-year Hitler Reich collapsed in 1945, my lawyer and friend, Dr. Robert Janowitz, who returned from the Mauthausen concentration camp, immediately set about finding out the Aktivia of the "Lital" company. When he called on "von Gänz" at Ariseaer, he was told "von Gänz" had a nervous breakdown and was staying in Upper Austria. By request Dr. Janowitz's handing him the books and papers, he received the typical reply that a fire broke out in the office a few weeks ago and all the books, papers and papers were burned. The next way was to Commissioner Vechel, where he received the information: Vechel is in hiding with his Nazi friends in Tyrol and the 2 shops aryanized by him are officially closed.
