Hello

Attached is a Marriage Authorisation document from the 19th century. I think this is in Hebrew and would welcome your view on the translation.

Guessing this represents he Hebrew names of those about to get married? I don't believe Brooks was his birth name. Also very interested in the notes made under "will attend wedding" - where there is no English translation given.

Many thanks

Neil

4/28/2021 3:27 PM Groom's Hebrew name is Shimon Tzvi
Will attend: Moshe Leib ???? ???
line below that is brides name: Pessa daughter of Zev
4/28/2021 4:54 PM From my past experience in translating such marriage authorization documents, the line "Will attend Wedding" refers to the line above "Brothers (if any)".
The first line should list the brothers, and the second should state if they will attend.

The Hebrew information filled in this line says: Moshe Leib will attend the wedding.
