I believe this is a registration form from when my Hungarian great-grandparents Martin and Rosa Beckman moved to Vienna. I was wondering if someone could help read what is written next to line 3 - Charakter - I just can't make it out. The names and ages I can read. I would also be very interested if anyone has any additional info about this type of registration form.
Thank you,
Debbie

It is Schlosser, which means locksmith.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that it is an official notification of change of address. People who moved had to notify the authorities. I am reaching this conclusion because there is a current address at the top, and the former address at the bottom.

The section at the right (Abmeldung) would be filled in when they left the new address.
