I would like a translation of the second record on the page, male #51. I want to confirm it is for Berel Chytranski, son of Icko and a mother whose name begins with an 'M'. If this is the correct record, I would like to know how this surname would have been pronounced.

11/1/2020 11:17 PM It is the birth record of Berel, born on the 7th of March (10th of Adar II). His mother was Mindel daughter of Jankel. Icko's father was Josel. The surname begins with an "X". The X can be pronounced as the gutteral kh, sometimes transliterated as ch, but that would be the ch of, say, Chaim, not of chicken. X can also be used as a standin for "H", since the Cyrillic alphabet does not have an H.
