9/2/2020 1:32 PM My dear sister Katya!
I recieved your letter today and I wonder why you hadn't revieved mine yet. We wrote [to ask] you to write us back and to send us a parcel to my name. Idochka [Ida] already went to Vitochka [Vita] so I'm alone now. She will get me there when she will accomodate there. So, my dear sister, I stay all alone and I feel so sad that tears gush from my eyes involuntarily when I write to you. So, my dear, my life is unsuccessful. Life of Idochka and Manya [Maria?] is hard too, but they have children at least. By the way I know that Idochka and Vitocka will not leave me but I don't wan't to be a burden at my old ears. I don't want to live till that. I work and earn money to live yet so I will look forward how it goes. I know, my dear, how this letter will depress you, please, don't. You will not help me by this. You help us enough 'cause there are no relatives for me in a whole world but you. And you writes me so good and comfort that I feel joy in my soul.
