the new-married had not signed any pre-marital agreement.

6/6/2020 12:54 AM The groom's settlement name is spelled in Russian as Войтовство and probably refers to Polish Wójtostwo.
The word itself may mean a sort of district in the Polish administrative system. But there are villages with such name. You may be interested in Wójtostwo (powiat kozienicki).
6/21/2020 5:53 AM Hi Dany, the father of Fajga Birenbaum is a direct ancestor. Her father was Josek Janklewicz ans Chaja Ruchla. Befor getting married to Haim Sznadjer, she was married to Lejbus Birenbaim (same name as her) who died in 1859. I would like to share with you our common findings. Best regards. Arie. (France)
