Found among my family's papers. In what language is this written? Would be interested in just a general idea of what it is written about.

5/17/2020 5:51 PM Swedish
5/18/2020 10:11 AM The letter is addressed to a friend who seems to have stopped to write after two years of correspondens. It is not possible to make out if the letter is addressed to or written by a women or if the writer
5/18/2020 11:50 AM Just by chanse my wife entered the room and saw the beginning of the letter and read it "keip gevianima?"
It is Lithuanian frase "how are you?"
She speaks Lithuanian as she came from Kovno...
BUT! She couldn't understand nothing else.
I suggest it may be some close to Lithuanian language (may be Latvian???)/
You see, it written in Karlsbad.
5/18/2020 12:30 PM Amoz, it is strange that I didn't see the previous "swedish" response.
I saw it just now when my wife returned and told that in 1918 Lthuanian language was not developed enough and such a letter couldn't be written then. (Sign she continued to think about the letter, in spite of being strange to JewishGen).
Good luck!
5/20/2020 5:19 AM It´s Swedish. It´s a little difficult for me to understand all because of the old style hand writing. The person talks about their friendship and how important it is with so good friends, and asks why one can´t have the luck to have such a friendship more closely.
